Susan DeMarco comes to St. Frances Cabrini from St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg where she has directed an adult choir, a children's choir, and founded the St. Cecilia Organ Program to teach pianists to play organ with an emphasis on playing for Catholic Masses. She received her bachelor’s degree in Music and Spanish from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX, where she studied organ under Dr. Robert Bennett and later completed a Master’s in Sacred Music at the same university, studying organ with Dr. Jeong-Suk Bae. Some of her past recitals have included a recital of music entirely from Spain and Latin America and the Dupré Stations of the Cross. She has previously served as the Assistant Music Director at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land, Texas, as well as St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston, Texas and the Director of Music at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia, TX. She resides in Port Washington with her husband Eric and their four children.
