Congratulations Rachel Kruepke

My Cabrini family,
It’s with absolute joy and gratitude that I get to share news of my acceptance to the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia in Nashville, Tennessee! I am so incredibly excited for this adventure and can’t wait to see where the Lord takes me in the coming years. As the Order of Preachers, Dominicans live a life of contemplation and share their gifts with others in the classroom. I will be spending the next few years learning about the Dominican life, growing in community with fellow sisters, and working towards my certification in education.
It has been a great blessing to have grown up in this parish, attended Saint Frances Cabrini School, and served as a cantor for Mass during my high school years. It’s at Cabrini where I learned the essence of the faith and where the seeds of my vocation were planted. I recently finished my engineering degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I began to recognize the Lord’s patient but steady invitation to explore a life totally dedicated to Him. Through years of prayer and a couple visits to the Nashville Dominicans, the Lord has brought so much peace and joy into my heart that I cannot help but accept this invitation!
My discernment process is far from over, so please keep me in your prayers and be assured that you are all in mine. Thank you everyone, especially my family, for your love and support! Saint Dominic and Saint Cecilia, pray for us!"
