Dear Friends: I wanted to keep everyone up to date on some of the most recent changes to the parish staffs at both Saint Frances Cabrini and Saint Mary’s Immaculate Conception Parishes:
Father Andrew Infanger will be ending his time at the parishes the weekend of August 1st and 2nd. His schedule of remaining weekend Masses can be found in this same e-bulletin so that anyone who wishes may catch him after Mass to wish him well. He has done a great job here in West Bend and we will miss him!
Father Carlos Londono has already begun his time here at both parishes as a brand new priest. His assignment here officially replaces that of Father Andrew as Shared Associate Pastor. Please welcome him as you seen him at the parishes and around town.
Assisting Priests: Father Dennis Dirkx and Father Bob Bales will continue to assist us with Masses as their schedule and health allow. They will again be on our schedule of presiders beginning in August. Father Ikeche Korie, a Dominican priest who has been celebrating the Saint Mary’s Spanish Masses, is now going to be assisting Saint Frances Cabrini on some weekends as well. Father Carlos will now assume full responsibility for the Spanish Masses and needs at Saint Mary’s.
Shared Business Manager/ Director of Administrative Services Rick Doll is retiring from his position as Shared Business Manager after many years of generous service to the parishes in that important managerial position. His last official day will be July 31st. After a search and hiring process this past spring,
Bill Neureuther has been selected to replace Rick. Bill has been working with Rick very closely for the past few months and is already easing in to his new role. We are very grateful to both of them for their service to the parishes.
Shared Stewardship and Volunteer Coordinator Jan Kolb has been working in both parishes for a few years now in the role of coordinator of volunteers, promoter of community gathering events, and of stewardship in general. She has done a great job in this position. The decision was recently made to eliminate this position since so much of what Jan typically works on has come to a stop, indefinitely, due to Covid 19. We do not envision an operational role such as hers again for quite awhile, and so we will divert our personnel resources to other areas, and we will explore alternative means to support and organize social gatherings if and when they return to parish life.
Jan has been very gracious in her understanding and acceptance of this change in our parish ministry structure. Please thank her for all of the great work she has done both as a volunteer in our community and also as a paid staff member. She will continue to be a valuable part of our parish family, even if no longer on the parish staff. Her last official staff day will be August 15th.
Catholic Formation Program Assistant, SFC Stephanie Heyrman was hired in late February to fill an opening in the Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic formation staff that had been vacated in early January. Due to a variety of shifting circumstances, she is finally able now to officially begin her work at Saint Frances Cabrini, starting July 20th. Due to the changing dynamics of large group formation right now in light of Covid rules, she will be helping with programming to ensure that we can adequately connect with our Rooted families and students to support any new models of formation we have to create. Please welcome her as you see her.
